Under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Urgent Closure of: Druley Hill, Kilmington
WILTSHIRE COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on 12th May 2025, the following length of road shall be closed to all
traffic in the interests of public safety to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out Carriageway patching and other
associated maintenance works..
Druley Hill Northeast C41 To Yarnfield Gate , Kilmington; from its junction with Kilmington Common for
approximately 600m in a southesterly direction
Alternative route: via Somerset network vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Access will be maintained for
residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
These works will commence on 12th May 2025 and are anticipated to be required for 1 day between the hours of
09:00 and 16:00. This Notice will have a maximum duration of 5 days.

ANNUAL PARISH MEETING – 12 MAY 2025
The Annual Parish Meeting will be held in the Stourton & Kilmington Home Guard Club on Monday 12 May 2025 commencing at 7.30 pm prompt. This will be followed by the Annual Parish Council Meeting.

Notice of Uncontested Election
Please see the attached notice from Wiltshire Council – there will not be a Parish Council ballot in Kilmington on 1 May.
As the number of candidates is equal to the number of seats available, the nominated candidates are duly elected and will take up office on Tuesday, 6 May.
